About Shady Planets

Shady Planets is the multi-genre musical project of Dave Belben and collaborators. Their music combines dark, groovy, playful electronic beats, with guitar, bass, vocals, found recordings, and other instrumentation. Influences include rock, jazz, blues, and the Avant-garde.

Belben lives in Seattle and also identifies as a father, preschool teacher, visual artist, winemaker, rock tumbler, plant lover, film collagist, student of ancient civilizations, and collector of hobbies. He is open to new collaborations with other artists, writers, and musicians.
